Meanwhile, Mattel recently spoke candidly to ET about what he loves most about judging the contest. “Every day my jaw was on the floor,” she said. “These are some of the most amazing singers in the world and they do it in wigs and heels. It’s, like, unbelievable.”
“I just like to judge,” Mattel continued, revealing that he got great advice from Visage on how to do it. “She said, ‘Think about it. They’re away from their family, their mother, their boyfriend, their regular audience members. You’re their only lifeline that tells them how they can do better. So, that’s it. Tell them what you think they need to learn to do it. Get yourself and their feelings out of it.”
Mattel said she wanted to return to the Paramount+ series “because I really felt like I helped her.”
