Prince Harry gives passionate speech on VAX Live. This was what he said

Prince Harry delivered an impassioned speech at the VAX Live concert “This pandemic cannot end unless we act collectively,” said the Duke of Sussex.

Harry participated in the recording of VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World on Sunday, organized by Global Citizen. This was his first appearance since returning to California after attending the funeral of his late grandfather, Prince Philip.

The VAX Live campaign, which “aims to inspire confidence in vaccines around the world and help COVID-19 vaccines reach everyone, everywhere,” according to a statement from Global Citizen. Harry and Meghan Markle serve as Vax Live Global Campaign Chairpersons

“We are at a watershed moment in the global fight against COVID-19. Tonight is a celebration for each of you here, the vaccinated frontline workers in the audience and the millions of frontline heroes around the world, ”he began.

“We are also coming together because this pandemic cannot end unless we act collectively with an unprecedented commitment to our shared humanity. The vaccine should be distributed to everyone everywhere. We cannot truly rest or recover until there is a fair distribution in all corners of the world, ”Harry continued.

“None of us should feel comfortable thinking that we could be okay when so many others are hurting. In reality, and especially with this pandemic, when someone suffers, we all suffer. We must look beyond ourselves with empathy and compassion for those we know and those we don’t. We need to lift up all of humanity and ensure that no one person or community is left behind. What we do at this time will go down in history and tonight, we stand in solidarity with the millions of families across India who are battling a devastating second wave, “he concluded.

When will VAX Live air?

The event was recorded on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on May 8.

Global Citizen’s VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World, will feature appearances by President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Ben Affleck, Chrissy Teigen, David Letterman, Gayle King, Jimmy Kimmel, Nomzamo Mbatha, Olivia Munn and Sean Penn.

It will have musical appearances by JLo, Jay Balvin, HER and the host is Selena Gomez.
