Pianist Elías Manzo will perform as guest soloist at the Camerata de Coahuila

This weekend and under the direction of Ramón Shade, the Camerata de Coahuila will be presented at Isauro Martínez Theater, in Torreón, Coahuila, within the Autumn-Winter season with the Piano Concerto in A minor, op.16 by Edvard Grieg and the Symphony No.4, Op.90 “Italian” by Felix Mendelssohn, with the participation of the Mexican pianist Elías Manzo as a guest soloist.

With two presentations, the concerts will take place next Friday 9 at 8:30 p.m., and Sunday 11 o’clock at 12:00 p.m.. Tickets are available on the NewTicket platform and at the Isauro Martínez Theater box office during office hours.

Elías Manzo Hernández won first place in the youth category of the London Classical Music Competition (LCMC) at the beginning of 2022. In addition to National Youth Award 2017State Youth Award 2021, as well as the Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition in Indiana United States in 2017.

In 2016, he obtained the First Place in the IX International Piano Biennial in Mexicali, Baja California, and in 2013, from Yamaha-Cedros National Contest in Mexico City. At age 9, she debuted as a soloist with the Zacatecas Philharmonic Orchestra and since then he has been a frequent guest of most of the orchestras in our country.

The pianist has taken classes and courses with masters such as Jorge Federico Osorno, Matti Raekallio, Jerome Rose, Seymour Bernstein, Antonio Pompa-Baldi and Théodore Paraskivesko. Elías Manzo launched his first record material in September 2020, entitled “Prácticas de Vuelo”.
