Pasha Blasdale has passed away. The model and music video star was 38 years old.
Blaisedale’s friend, Director X, shared the sad news via Instagram on Tuesday with compilation videos of some of his work, which included starring in the popular music video for Nelly’s 2002 hit song “Hot in Here.” Director X confirms that Blaisedale “died of a brain tumor on June 4, 2022 at 11:59 am”
“We lost a friend yesterday,” he wrote. “If you made the videos in the 2000s or were around to see them you know Pasha. We met him while doing background work on the set of Donnell Jones’ ‘Where I Want to Be. [and] From there we put it in the mix. It was a wild ride from then on.”
The film director continued, “I’ve put him in a million videos and spent the same amount of time hanging out.” “She was always genuine and calm. Never brought the drama to life on set. You never know when will be the last time you speak to someone. I hold your memories with love. Rest in strength Pasha 24 January 1984 – 4 June 2022.”
Others from the entertainment industry flooded the posts with their condolences. “it’s terrible!!!” Busta Rhymes wrote. “Easy Queen Pasha”
Alfredo Flores, Terence J., and Jermaine Dupri were among others only to add the prayer hand emoji.
During his career, Blaisedale starred in several music videos, including Sean Paul’s “Gimme the Light” and 50 Cent’s “PIMP”.
