Ozzy Osbourne will undergo major surgery on Monday, reveals Sharon Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne is going under the knife for a surgery that “could determine the rest of his life.” Speaking on a British talk show, ConversationLast week, Sharon Osbourne revealed that her husband was having a “major operation” on Monday and was returning to Los Angeles to be with him.

“He has a huge operation on Monday and I have to be there,” the 69-year-old TV personality said. “It’s really going to determine the rest of his life.”

While Sharon didn’t reveal much details about the surgery, the 73-year-old rock star has suffered health issues, including problems with her neck.

In May, Black Sabbath frontman speak to classic rock magazine Regarding the aftermath of his bike accident in 2003 — Ozzy said he’s still dealing with it today.

“I’m just looking forward to some more surgery on my neck,” she told the magazine. “I can’t walk properly these days. I have physical therapy every morning. I’m somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I’d like to get back on the road.”

Sharon, who celebrated 40 years of marriage with the “Prince of Darkness” in July, said on the talk show that she hopes the pair can celebrate the milestone anniversary together.

“It depends on everything with OG,” she said.

In January 2020, Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and shortly after, a . was hit by COVID-19 diagnosis, the first of which has kept them largely off the road over the years. The couple spoke to ET in September 2020, where they opened up about their relationship and Ozzy’s health struggles.

“It finally catches up with you. I’ve got no complaints. I’ve had a great career. I’ve had a great time. And I haven’t yet,” Rocker said at the time. “If my life ended on a stage, so be it. That’s where I belong.”
