Nick Cannon Where She Stands With Mariah Carey And If She’ll Ever Take Her Back (Exclusive)

Nick Cannon still isn’t shy about his love for ex-wife Mariah Carey — but does she feel the same way? While the guest baha mars. I co-host ET with Nischelle Turner sanctuary In the Bahamas, the 41-year-old TV personality opens up about his current relationship with Carrie and if he has a shot at rekindling their romance.

In a recent interview hot tea talk show, Cannon called her marriage to the 52-year-old singer an “imaginary love.”

“He’s someone I’ll always love,” he said. “I’ll never be in love with Maria again. If I get the chance, if it can happen, I’m there.”

Cannon, who was married to Carey from 2008 to 2016 and shares with her 11-year-old twins, Morocco and Monroe, was ready to “context” these statements when speaking with ET.

“I was talking about imagining all of this. I was like, ‘Yo, if I could have that same vibe in my life and that situation at that age, of course I’d do it again.'” He explains. “But I’m not.”

The father of seven says, “Obviously, there’s a lot going on in my life now that’s completely different from hers.”

Whether the door is still open or “at least broken” to come back with Carey, Cannon quipped, “Maria doesn’t want me. I’ll just show all my thousand kids, like, ‘Hey, I’m’ M back.'”

masked singer The host maintains his statement that their relationship was like a “fairy tale”, and recalls when he and Carrie renewed their vows at Disneyland with their two children dressed as Cinderella and Prince Charming. .

“We closed Disneyland. It was the kids’ second birthday,” shared Cannon. “… We were in the castle, it was wonderful. Like I said, fairy tale memories. There’s no way I could ever have an experience like that again.”

As for where he currently stands with Carey, “We’re still close friends, best friends, great parents together. I appreciate that time in our lives,” Cannon says. “Obviously we’ve all grown and evolved and gone our separate ways. But it was still like the biggest fantasy of my life.”

Cannon admitted that seeing Betty Monroe growing up so fast he was “scared”. “At 11, they see the world in a completely different way but they express it. They call me at my mess all the time,” he says of the twins. “They both got huge personalities.”
