Videos taken by concert attendees show the 43-year-old rapper falling near the midpoint of his set. In a new Instagram post, the Ozark Empire Faire provided an update on D-Rock’s status: “The Ozark Empire Faire would like to share that D-Rock has fully recovered from his downfall at last night’s concert. He received medical help backstage and was walking around before leaving the fair ground.”
In a video posted to the official Ying Yang Twins Instagram account, D-Rock explained that “it was 84 degrees outside, yes, but on stage, it raised the temperature, so I was getting dehydrated.”
“I kept drinking water and then next thing I know, I got up on the golf cart, the paramedics were right there and they said I was dehydrated,” he continued. The Grammy-nominated rapper ended by thanking “Thank you all for loving you, but I’m good”.
The duo’s appearance at the Ozark Empire Faire followed the hip-hop icon’s soft return to the stage. In 2019, the pair had a featured appearance on the Millennium Tour with acts such as B2K And chingi, During their career, The Ying Yang Twins have released six studio albums, four of which charted on the Billboard 200, including 2005’s No. USA (United State of Atlanta), On the Billboard Hot 100, some of their biggest hits include “Wait (The Whisper Song)” (number 15) and the number 9-peaking “Salt Shaker” (along).
