Leona Lewis and husband Denise Rauch welcomed their first child together last week. The “Bleeding Love” singer, 27, announced the good news on Tuesday (August 2) in an Instagram post in which she wrote, “And then there were three.” Our little Carmel Allegra arrived.
The post – in which Louise is seen nursing the baby – revealed that she arrived on July 22; Jouch shared the same photo on his Insta feed, with Louise announcing her pregnancy in March, writing, “Can’t wait to see you this summer,” along with a photo of her baby bump.
Jauch, a choreographer who met Lewis in 2010 while working as his backup dancer on “The Labyrinth” tour, also posted a photo of his pregnant wife at the time. “The biggest gift I could have asked for is coming this summer,” he wrote, “you are a hot a** mama.” Lewis was greeted by many famous friends, including Jessie J, Keri Hilson and Callum Scott.
After a decade of dating, the singer married Jauch in 2019 People The magazine was reporting at the time that the ceremony took place at Sting and wife Trudy Styler’s Tuscan vineyard south of Florence, Italy, in front of about 200 guests, including Sugarbabes star Keisha Buchanan and The Voice UK Winner Jermaine Jackman, who performed for the couple on their big day. (Lewis was also a winner on a UK reality/contest show. She won X Factor in 2006.)
Lewis is best known for his epic 2008 ballad “Bleeding Love”, which peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the best-selling single worldwide that year and topped the charts in more than 30 other countries. Stay on
