Cole Swindell joins Tim McGraw for ‘I Like It, I Love It’: Watch – Billboard

Cole Swindell takes seventh No. 1 Board Country airplay hits, which include their recent back-to-back No. 1s, “Single Saturday Night” as well as the Laney Wilson collaboration “Never Say Never.” Their current single, “She Had Me at Her’s Carolina,” is also running on the airplay charts, proving to be a major contender to add another chart leader to their tally.

But the singer-songwriter added to those surreal career milestones during Tim McGraw’s headlining set at the Faster Horse Festival on Sunday (July 24) in Brooklyn, Mich.

Swindell shared a video of himself on Instagram on Tuesday (August 2) in which he is wearing a vintage McGraw shirt. He mentioned in the video subtitle, “Going to be one of the best moments of my career…singing ‘I Like It, I Love It’ with the man himself.”

The clip shows Swindell singing along to McGraw as the huge crowd cheers and joins the voices of the two musical artists. “When I covered it in college, he never sang it so loudly,” Swindell said.

“Glad someone caught it because I blacked out there!!!” He also wrote on his video post, which included thanking McGraw himself, saying he was “grateful for everything you’ve done in country music and for inspiring me to do what I love.”

“I Like It, I Love It” was a 1995 hit for McGraw, peaking at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. it was on the album all i want isIncluding the singles “Can’t Be Really Gone” and “All I Want Is a Life”.

Swindell will also visit this fall, starting the Down to the Bar tour on September 23. He will welcome openers Ashley Cook and Dylan Marlowe to the track.
