I’m so used to the Academy Awards being traditionally the last show of awards season that I must admit that when I remember in the post-Oscars haze that the 64th Annual Grammy Awards are Sunday.

It’s music’s biggest night, filled with performances from some of the biggest stars.

Knowing how it all happens (if you’ve followed real-life headlines) doesn’t necessarily take away from the tragic weirdness of it all.

Thomas Rhett has decided not to go home when he grows up.

“Where We Started,” her new album, boasts 15 tracks and guest appearances by Katy Perry.

“When he put his tone on it, it took him two weeks,” Rhett told Country Now about their collaboration, “She really put a lot of time and effort into this rendition. … It reminded me what an amazing singer she is, and I feel like it really came to life.”

The new album drops on Friday.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 12th album, “Unlimited Love”, is over 70 minutes long, thanks to the 17 songs on it.

There are ballads and lots of funky grooves. True fans will find much to love.

Don’t think there’s much left to say about this “the slap” At this year’s Academy Awards, but I’ll offer this: The whole thing felt less about Jada Pinkett Smith and more about Will Smith.

Yes, the beloved actor took to the stage to hit Chris Rock after he was mocked by the comedian pinkett smith shaved head (He suffers from alopecia), but in his tearful acceptance speech, moments after the event, when Smith won his first Oscar, I saw a man defend his wife.

I saw the young boy about whom Smith wrote in his memoir felt unable to protect his mother from an abusive relationship, And, in this, I think there is a lesson for all of us that if we don’t deal with our trauma, it can reappear and cause harm to others and ourselves.

This is not an excuse or pass, just a reminder that we all have baggage.
