Why was Eternals Cameos hacked explained?

Moon Knight It took place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but maintained a distinct nature to its story with no cameos or strong ties to other characters. The Avengers didn’t appear, there were little callouts to the vast universe, and Moon Knight was the centerpiece of it all. In development for the Disney+ series, Moon Knight Came close to including a few cameos. Not only was Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman considered for an appearance at Steven Grant’s museum, but some members of Eternal almost came to the show.

In the “early days” of development, Moon KnightExecutive producer Grant Curtis on the Phase Zero podcast said the creative team thought about bringing Eternals into the series. “It’s such an incredible universe that Kevin, Lou, Victoria, along with so many other incredible producers at Marvel over the years have created it,” Curtis said. “And the knee-jerk reaction is to try to ask if you can play with all the toys, whoever that may be, has traveled in and out of the Moon Knight universe on comic book pages. But what do we realize quickly? What happened was those ties just weren’t with the story we were telling because you guys know it. In Marvel, it’s character, character, character first. And all of Marvel’s shows are really intense character studies.”

In the case of Moon Knight, the team decided to focus on the story being told in Egypt, focusing on the personalities involved in the main character’s body. “Once we started to really wrestle with the character studies, who’s Mark Spector, who’s Steven Grant, who’s Jake Lockley, and this crazy Egyptian god who’s manipulating them, Khonshu ‘The more connectivity points just faded away and we have more of what you guys saw on screen,'” Curtis explained.

“I really like the fact that my mom of all people can jump into the MCU and enjoy Moon Knight as much as the guy or girl who’s seen every MCU offering you could ever imagine are,” said the executive producer. “She loved the show. My dad loved the show. They watch a lot of Marvel stuff. They don’t watch it all. And they didn’t need to know all the backstories of what happened before. And so, hey, Sometimes there are a lot of names that you guys know who have been swimming in and out of the prospect of being on this series. But the reality is, we needed Mark. We needed Steven. We needed Jake, Scarlett Scarab and Khonshu were needed, and Arthur Harrow, and a few others. Tavaret. We think our show is pretty complete with what we have.”
