Two beloved Will Ferrell movies headed to Netflix

With a number of iconic comedies over the past few decades, Will Ferrell has established himself as one of the most beloved leading funnymen around the world. Many of his films in the 2000s became instant classics, comedies that film fans still watch on a frequent basis today. Next month, some of those movies are coming to Netflix, making them even easier to watch again.

On Wednesday, Netflix released the full list of movies and TV shows that made their way to the service during July. That list was filled with exciting acquisitions and anticipated originals. There were two popular Will Ferrell movies in that group: old school And semi pro,

old school Not only remembered as one of the best films of Ferrell’s career, but also as one of the films that made him such a household name. Todd Phillips’ nearly 20-year-old comedy was originally released in 2003. Eight years later, Ferrell starred in semi pro, playing the role of Jackie Moon, basketball player/coach/promoter/owner. While the semi-pro cannot be treated in the same way old school, it’s still one of Ferrell’s most quotable ones of all time. The comedian’s fans will surely love to see both the movies coming to Netflix.
