Sylvester Stallone Calls Rocky Rights Holders “Bloodsuckers” in Graphic Social Media Post

Sylvester Stallone isn’t taking any punches on social media this week. Stallone shared edited images of Winkler as the vampire sucking blood from the neck of the actor’s Rocky Balboa, after he blasted Irwin Winkler and his family over ownership rights to the Rocky franchise on Saturday night.

“Rocky drained after Irwin Winkler and family,” Stallone shared on Instagram Sunday afternoon. “The most hated, thoughtless, handicapped” [sic]The producers and their cowardly kids in Hollywood have got their next meal… Drago, back my right Bloodsuckers!”

Last week, it was revealed rocky The franchise went on to expand beyond the cult with another set of spin-offs featuring Dolph Lundgren’s Ivan Drago.

“Throughout history so many artists in every industry, recording, painting, writing, you name it, have been destroyed by these bloodthirsty men who have destroyed so many families, with other people loose their pockets. Done! Dolph, why?” Stallone added on Instagram. “No phone call? #parasite maker #exploited artist [and] the victim.”

Despite creating the character and the franchise, Stallone was never given ownership of the property. Instead, Winkler’s production company co-owns the franchise with MGM.

A third cult film is currently in the works, although Stallone is not involved in that production.

“I guess let Sly tell that he wasn’t coming back for it, but I think, you know, his essence and his soul… there’s always going to be a little bit of Rocky within Adonis,” cult Producer Michael B Jordan previously reported IGN, “But it’s a cult franchise, and we really want to push this story and the world around it. So, it’s always an honor and there’s always a ton of love for what she’s created, but we really want to move on and navigate Adonis and the family he’s created.” Jordan added, “So hopefully Thinking that you guys will love who I am… what are we making. I think it’s going to be something special.”
