Shuri and Okoye go online for the first time

After years of work, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Ready to debut in a few months. There are already a lot of eyes on the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, especially amid the tragic demise of T’Challa star Chadwick Boseman in 2020, with audiences eager to see how the sequel will carry on the legacy of Wakanda. While the first trailer for the project isn’t coming out in the near future, a look through the packaging for the soft drink Sprite has gotten a look at two of the film’s key characters. The packaging, which you can see below, offers a first look at how Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Shuri (Letitia Wright) will appear in the film.

“It’s an incredible honor to have Chadwick Boseman,” Wright said of the film in a recent interview. Diversity, “It’s full of exciting things. The film will also mark Dominic Thorne’s debut as Riri Williams/Ironheart, who is later set to star in her own Disney+ series. Michaela Coel and Tenoch Huerta have also been cast in currently undisclosed roles.

“So many comics and that first movie is World of Wakanda,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explained in 2021. Wakanda is a place to explore further, with characters and different subcultures. It was always the primary focus at the beginning and the next story.”

“We don’t have CG Chadwick and we’re not going to recreate T’Challa,” Feige said. “Ryan Coogler is working very hard on the script right now with a lot of respect and love and talent, which gives us a lot of consolation, so it was always about carrying forward the mythology and the inspiration of Wakanda. There is also an act of respect and We also respect the lessons and teachings that Chad is taking.”

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently slated to release exclusively in theaters on November 11.
