While neither Campbell’s nor Cox’s returns have been confirmed, both have claimed that they were sent a script that at least some version of the story would have allowed for their return.

“I got the script yesterday. I haven’t read it yet, I just got it,” Cox shared just a variety “I’m excited to read this, and I know they’re going to start filming in Canada in June. I don’t know if I have anything to say. Let me tell you the killer!”
