Moon Knight producers working on Fantastic Four Next

So far, the Marvel hierarchy is a well-oiled machine. At the top you have Kevin Feige, arguably one of the biggest and most influential producers to grace Hollywood. Then they have the pair of top lieutenants in Victoria Alonso and Louis D’Esposito. Next comes the Marvel Studios Parliament, made up of longtime Marvel Studios producers such as Brad Winderbaum, Trin Tran, Nate Moore, Jonathan Schwartz, Stephen Broussard, Eric Carroll, and others. Then comes the latest crop of growers, who are assigned one project at a time to oversee and conduct media and promotional duties. In one example, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Richie Palmer was his first credited producer gig. The same thing happened to Grant Curtis and Nick Pepin Moon Knight,

As ComicBook.com can now reveal, Curtis and Pepin already have their next Marvel gig. Moon Knight Writer Jeremy Slater tells us the two will soon tackle Marvel’s much-anticipated Fantastic Four reboot.

“My execution is on Moon Knight those are the people running Fantastic FourSo we had a lot of conversations about it,” Slater tells us. “I was like, ‘I’m not going to pitch you for anything, because honestly you don’t need my stink on this.’ “

Slater was asked if he would be lobbying Marvel for the coveted writing gig because of his past attachment to the property. He wrote the first draft to Josh Trank. Fantastic Four Movies. Only one of his lines made it to the final theatrical release.

“I don’t think the original Fantastic Four was my mistake, because in that movie I have a line of dialogue when Reed is about to do his science experiment as a kid, and he’s like, ‘Don’t blow up,’ I think it’s a line that It’s over from my script and everything else was replaced,” says the writer. “So I don’t take too much ownership of it, but I also know that if they declare, ‘Hey, we’re a are doing Fantastic Four Movie, ‘All of Twitter’s go, ‘Yay,’ and they’re like, ‘And the guy who wrote the last one is doing it again,’ and all Twitter goes, ‘You idiot!’

Regardless, Slater admits the project is in the best hands now at House of Ideas.

He concluded, “Grant and Nick are wonderful executives. They’ll get great writers and great directors. And they don’t need my stink anywhere near that project. I can’t wait to see it as a fan, But I just know that no one will ever accept Jeremy Slater Fantastic Four Film for a very good reason. If your Uber driver comes over and you say, ‘Oh, I saw that guy drunk and driving last week,’ you’re not going to get in the car with him. I think there are some things that I probably need to stay away from for the rest of my career.”
