Love and Thunder star Chris Hemsworth promises big revelations for Jane Foster’s return

Only a few weeks left for Marvel Studios to launch Thor: Love and Thunder Fans are at an all-time high on and off the big screen. The film will reunite us with Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, who has become the mightiest Thor since we last saw her Thor: The Dark World, Jane Foster will be going through a “terrible hardship” in the film, but it is currently unknown whether that hardship will be the same cancer storyline from the comics. Chris Hemsworth has started doing interviews for the film and made some big revelations about Portman’s return. while speaking with yahoo entertainmentThe actor revealed that the film will answer some unanswered questions about Thor and Jane Foster’s relationship.

“I mean, I started this journey with him[Portman], playing opposite her in the first film and reuniting now and Jane is in a very different place and Thor has to be in a different place,” Hemsworth revealed. “It was a lot of fun and, you know, we got to It’s a chance to answer some unanswered questions that we left with the second film when he parted ways. We didn’t really know what really happened. Did he throw it? Did he throw it? Who left who? etc. So we had a lot of fun answering those questions.”

“She comes in and definitely kicks some ass. It’s interesting for Thor to try and understand or hold on to that thought because he’s like ‘Who am I?’ And it’s a little confusing to see someone else dressed like that.” Thor: Love and Thunder Star added when asked about Portman’s action sequences.

Portman definitely looks like she’s up for battle as the actress put in a lot of muscle to play the mighty Thor. She already looks excellent in the outfit and can definitely hold her own with Hemsworth. The actress first detailed her process of getting in shape for the role, saying she even “feels strong the first time.”

“It was really fun,” Portman told Vanity Fair about her workouts and training. “I worked with a trainer, Naomi Pendergast, because, I think, it was four months before shooting, and then obviously all the way through filming. We did a lot of weight training and a lot of protein shakes— Heavyweight training is something I’ve never done before. Of course, I’ve never really aimed to be heavy. It was very physical, so it was agility work and strength work as well.” She later added in the same interview, “It definitely helps you get into character, and it definitely changes the way I walk. You walk differently; you feel different. Mine.” Means, feeling strong for the first time in my life is very wild.”
