“It was Taika in her madness. Taika, normally, is like 11, so you can do the math there,” Hemsworth told Australia. today, “He described it as if he had been given the keys to the kingdom, and someone said, ‘Here, if a seven-year-old is making a movie, what would you do?’ He said, ‘Okay, I want to put this in. I want to do this. I want to try it.’ And whatever he suggested, I said yes to it, and then we had this crazy film in front of us.”
Hemsworth added Thor The forquel has “all the fun, humor, and weirdness in all of Taika’s films,” but “it has a great love story at its center. It has a lot of heart, and some unbelievably wondrous action, as you can imagine.”
Later Ragnarok Excluded is Natalie Portman, who played Midgard astrophysicist Jane Foster in 2011 Thor and of 2013 Thor: The Dark WorldPortman will return to adapt the MCU’s version of The Mighty Thor comic book storyline that transformed mortal Jane into the Goddess of Thunder.
“What I didn’t want to do is just make Ragnarok again, because it’s done,” Waititi previously reported ew, “I needed to do something more interesting for myself to keep the whole thing ignited and to make sure I felt creatively stimulated. instead of makingRagnarok 2“Wattie’s Thor 4 Is – as the title says – about love. (With superheroes in space, Waititi noted.)
,Ragnarok Felt like a party,” he explained. “It was pretty festive. It’s still fun, and it has over-the-top moments, but thematically, it’s somewhat darker than the previous film. It’s not a serious film, and it’s not a drama, but we deal with ideas that I think a lot of humans deal with — universal themes about love and loss and our place in the world. The question everyone asks in the film is: What is your purpose? What is the reason you are a hero, and what do you do when you have these powers?”
Waititi continued, “It’s really like a Midlife Crisis movie. That’s the question we all ask: Are we doing the right thing, and are we doing all that we can in the world? I think right now, while the world is still recovering from this pandemic, that’s a good question. It’s like, well Huh Are we doing enough to take care of each other and take care of ourselves?”
