WARNING: Mild spoilers below for Jurassic World Dominion

“There is a scene, and if people have seen the movie, by the time we talk about it, when we are at the Amber Cleve market, the underground market in Malta,” Trevorrow explained. collider, “There’s a scene where our Lystrosaurus, the beast that ends up in the fight ring with Chris Pratt sitting next to Kayla, has a fight with an Oviraptor. And it’s honestly one of my favorite things in the movie, And it’s not in the movie. You’ll get a chance to see it someday. But it’s one of those types of moments, you can tell it’s a 12-year-old who was allowed to make a film, come forward and make a film. Was doing the sequence. So that’s a pretty dope.”

Trevorrow also explained another scene that could have been light on dinosaurs, but was kind of fulfilling from another point of view.

“There’s a scene between Ramsay Cole, Mamoudou [Athie] character, and Campbell Scott, Louis Dodgson,” the director elaborated. “There’s no dinosaurs in it. It’s just a piece of performance. And there are these two actors, someone who is playing someone who had a lot of trust in this man, who feels betrayed by him and a man who is revealing a side of himself that this young man has. Have never seen before. And it also does a lot in understanding Biosyn’s intentions when it comes to this ecological disaster that has been created around the world, the mistakes that were made, and the character that really only tries to hide his mistakes and move on. Why care but.”

He continued, “I think films can seem a bit long at times. So I think it is something that everyone will have their own opinion on. I think the film moves in a way that doesn’t feel like it. Would have been if it was two hours. And a 20-minute film. And that’s what’s most important. It’s not the length of the film. The experience you have while watching it and the pace of it when you watch it. Me on the film So proud. And yet I’m really excited that we have more things to share with people.”

The filmmaker’s irritation about sharing more stuff with people may mean these elements will be featured in home video releases, but that’s over. wrapTrevorrow acknowledged, addressing an extended, director’s cut of the film, “We’ll see. We’ll see how things go. Finger cross.”
