Idris Elba will do a stunner! Film adaptation by Bullet Train director David Leach

Idris Elba’s Collide! Follows a detective who is sent on a mission to stop an apocalyptic cult from brainwashing the public with a collection of novels. Producers include Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg for Dark Horse, Leach and Kelly McCormick for 87 North and Elba.

Previous projects coming out of the Dark Horse/Netflix pact include Umbrella Academy, polar starring Mads Mikkelsen, and Samurai Rabbit: Usagi Chronicles animated series. Some upcoming projects featuring Blake Lively Lady Killer And Revenge Inc. Lady Killer The comic was created by Joel Jones and Jamie S. Rich and stars a 1950s housewife who leads a double life as a trained mercenary.

David Leach credits Jackie Chan’s iconic style of stunt work and slapstick humor-infused acrobatics as influences on the light touch. bullet trainis a stern action.

“You hear the title bullet train And you think, ‘Tough action.’ But really it’s a fun, high, comedic action thriller,” Leach said, adding “a little physical comedy” to the classic Jackie Chan fight scenes always inspired by boarding a moving train.

“Fights are designed to enhance characters,” he said. “We’re here to have fun in this super-contained space.”

Sony Pictures describes the event from the original film as a fun, delusional action-thriller from the acclaimed action director (who most recently produced the Bob Odenkirk-starring action-comedy). nobody, Academy Award winner Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) an ensemble cast of eclectic, diverse assassins set against the backdrop of a non-stop ride through modern Japan – all with connected yet conflicting objectives.
