Hugh Jackman announces the death of his dog Dalia

We love celebrity dogs here comicbook.com, and two of our favorites have always been Hugh Jackman’s French bulldog, Dali, and the terrier-poodle mix, Allegra. Sadly, Jackman revealed on Instagram today that Dali passed away at the age of 11. The Wolverine star often shows off her pups on social media and she shared some adorable photos of her and Dali today to honor her memory.

“It is a very sad day for our family. Dali, our beloved Frenchie, passed away last night. He would have turned 12 next month… which I am told is a long life for this breed. I will always , always call him rockstar. Because he was! He marched to the beat of his own drum, was dear to the whole world, and was his life good. We will miss him but know he is thundering in heaven, Ruling the roost and enjoying an all you can eat buffet. RIP cast Rockstar Jackman. We love you!” You can see Jackman’s post below:

Obviously a lot faster and smarter than me,” Jackman joked. “I just love fans. And so, when good things come my way, I’m going to pass it on.”
