“In the second draft, he actually encountered Annihilus and he was 20 feet tall and cybernetic,” the authors say. “I introduced him as a T-Rex Jurassic Park And along the way he would hunt and attack them, and it looked like he was the one who killed Victor and they came back through the portal just in time, but it was actually a fun twist or turn of Annihilus. It was a fun way to use that we hadn’t seen before.”
Nevertheless, the author hopes to see this character eventually come to fruition.
“For one of a thousand reasons, that was something that turned into that movie,” Slater concluded. “But the good news is he’s not used yet. He’s still out there, and he’s awesome.
