Doctor Strange 2 teases omega-level mutants

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness It opened some new doors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — and created some opportunities that a lot of fans don’t even know are in motion right now. We have compiled a list of all Doctor Strange 2 Easter eggs you can find in the movie – but there’s definitely one in particular that we need to highlight here!

(Warning: Major Doctor Strange 2 Spoilers follow!)

As everyone now knows, the major pivot point Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness The second comes in the act, when Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and America Chavez (Xochital Gomez) jump to the reality of Earth-838 to escape the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Earth-838 and its reality are controlled by The Illuminati, a group of mighty Marvel heroes who protect their reality and the Multiverse from danger. One of the most talked about members of the Illuminati is undoubtedly John Krasinski joining the MCU in the form of Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic.

Doctor Strange 2 Doesn’t give us a full Fantastic Four introduction, but when Reed Richards tries to talk to Wanda Maximoff during an attack on the Illuminati, she drops an Eater Egg: She has kids. This moment doesn’t last long (as Wanda clapped with one of the most chilling lines in Marvel movies) but it is an important one.

Franklin Richards – Omega-Level Mutants

In Marvel Comics lore, the X-Men are a ranking of mutant powers in the world. “Omega-Level Mutants” are not surprisingly the most powerful of the bunch, as their powers can affect the nature of the world, the universe, or reality. One of those omega-level mutants (and the most powerful character in all of Marvel) is Reed Richards, the son of Franklin Richards.

Like Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch, Franklin Richards has the power to transform or alter reality as she wishes. Franklin’s power is so great that he has created entire pockets of realities out of his subconscious thoughts; He has also waged war with the Celestials (as a variant) and enslaved Galactus to become his personal herald. In short: Franklin Richards is unquestionably one of the most powerful characters in all of Marvel. And Wanda kills Earth-838’s Franklin Richards’ father…

Like Scarlet Witch, though, Franklin Richards’ character has gone from a bit of a mess over the past ten years. He was the ultimate Omega-level mutant for the most part; It was then assumed that he was not a mutant, but something else on the cosmic scale. There’s no telling how the MCU will adapt the character (now that Marvel Studios has access to the X-Men and Mutants), we just know that there’s a powerful, reality-altering character on the table now that’s about to bear fruit in the MCU. at some point.

Note: Reed Richards’ second child is Valeria Richards, who is a super-genius (but not a superpower).

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Now in cinemas.
