A focal point of this year’s D23 Expo will also be announcements about plans for next year, which marks the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company (it’s “23”). It was earlier announced by the company that this year’s event will feature more livestreams than ever before for those who are unable to enjoy at home.
“While we know the “ultimate” experience is happening in person at #D23Expo, there are many Disney fans who can’t make it to the event. This year, we’ll be livestreaming more panels and presentations than ever before! We Will announce the full #D23Expo livestream schedule in the weeks before the big event!” The D23 Twitter account wrote earlier this year. “As we announced on #DestinationD23, this year’s #D23Expo show by @TWDCArchives will be a celebration of The Walt Disney Company’s upcoming 100th anniversary, and we’ll be sharing more about that in the near future. #Disney100”
