Deadpool 3 Writers Explain Why Ryan Reynolds’ Sequel Is Taking So Long

With each passing day, the possibility of deadpool 3 Won’t hit theaters for at least another two years – maybe even three or four if we’re being realistic. Marvel already has three movies in the hopper for 2023 and just one more date open for the year, which is likely bladeThe Mahershala Ali vampire thriller is all set to begin filming here in a few weeks.

When asked why he is taking so long to pull out the film, deadpool 3 Writer Rhett Reese said they are trying to make it the best film in the trilogy. “We want to make it great,” Reese said in a detailed interview playlist, “We’re in the lab working on this with Ryan Reynolds all the time, and we’re entertaining ourselves a lot.”

He continued, “So, hopefully, it translates and will eventually entertain the world. But you know, it’s a marriage between Fox and Disney and it’s two different universes and it’s not easy. But It’s also an amazing challenge and, you know, high class problems to be able to merge those, those worlds. So, we are, we’re enjoying it.”

In the same interview, Reese expressed excitement at being one of the filmmakers to help connect the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the Marvel world previously produced by 20th Century Fox.

“Obviously it seems, it’s two completely different regimes, isn’t it? So, it’s two different bureaucracies,” he continued. “It was Fox, these were all different people, and now it’s not those people. It’s these [Disney] People and these people work in their own way. And we were used to doing things our own way, so there are differences, but I think the great thing is that Marvel has been incredibly supportive.”
