Clue Gulgar, Return of the Living Dead and character actor, Dead at 93

Character actor Clue Gulgar, known for working in horror films and western films during his long career, has passed away. Gulager made his television debut, appearing in shows such as The United States Steel Hour, Goodyear Playhouse and Studio One in Hollywood. He got his big break playing Billy the Kid on The Tall Man for 75 episodes, later appearing as Emmett Raiker in The Virginian for over 100 episodes. His career would continue into the 1970s and ’80s with guest spots on countless TV shows such as Bonanza, Mod Squad, Hawaii Five-O, Chip, Knight Rider, Magnum P.I., Murder, She Wright and MacGyver. After appearing in shows such as The Virginian, FBI and others, Gulager earned herself a place in Quenton Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, a film that served as a love letter to that era of television. in which he had grown up. The film marked his last role.
