Blade star Wesley Snipes reveals the surprising origin for the iconic catchphrase

“It happened at my dinner table,” Snipes tells us of the origins of the proverb. “We were reading a script and I remember David Goyer, one of the other producers and writer. They were all sitting at my dinner table, eating some amazing, scrumptious cream cheese-based chicken, something in Louisiana. That’s great. Tha, it makes you want to lick under your fingernails, and we were reading. We were thinking of things that would work, things that would make sense. That was one of those inspirations. It just came out. Yeah. So it’s basically mine, basically, on the dinner table and sour cream chicken. Sour chicken can be one hell of an influencer, one hell of an inspiration.”

In the same conversation, the actor said that he didn’t think it was a requirement that the character had to star in R-rated properties, all three of his ratings. blade Movies moved.

“I think stories like this lend themselves to a wide range of dialogue and situations. Both adults and young adults,” Snipes said. “I don’t know, it seems that the R-rating and PG-13 base is slipping now because it seems that now 13-year-olds can speak words better than adults.”
