Bhuj: Sonakshi Sinha’s first look release of The Pride of India, a multistarrer film based on a true story will be streamed on Hotstar
Sonakshi Sinha’s first look at Bhuj: The Pride of India has been released after Ajay Devgn. The multistarrer film is set to release on the OTT (Over the Top) platform. The film is directed by writer Abhishek Dudhaiya and produced by T-Series. The film is based on the true story of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Sonakshi is in the role of social worker Sundarbans who helped the Indian Army along with 299 other local women at the time.
The film is the story of the bravery of Wing Commander Vijay Karnik and 300 local women from Madhapur, Gujarat, who were instrumental in India’s victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The first look of the film as Ajay Devgn’s squadron leader Vijay Karnik has been released.
The starcast of the film
In the film, Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Ranchoddas Savabhai Rabari who is known as Pagi. South star Rana Daggubati plays a lieutenant colonel of the Madras Regiment who was stationed at the Vighakot outpost and fought in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Punjabi star Amy Virk is in the role of a fighter pilot.
