Discovery shocked the entertainment world this week with news that it has pulled the plug on live-action bat girl Movies, a $90 million project that was already in the final stages of post-production. The film was made for HBO Max, but has now been shelved altogether and will not be released anywhere, with Warner Bros. Discovery opting to write it off for tax purposes instead.
