The house changed hands for $40 million

MIAMI (EFE) .- The Brazilian model Adriana Lima, one of the “angels” of the Victoria’s Secret brand, sold her villa on the shores of the Bay of Biscay (Miami-Dade) for 40 million dollars, 31 million dollars more than those who bought it, according to property portal The Real Deal.

The seller was a trust linked to the 40-year-old model and mother of three, while the buyer is a Virgin Islands company that is not known who is representing in this case, according to specialist business media Real Estate.

Adriana Lima’s home dates from 1958 but has been remodeled and features four bedrooms and four bathrooms in over 600 square feet.

It is located on the exclusive island of Indian Creek north of the Bay of Biscay and nestles on nearly 8,100 square meters of land.

The model bought her Indian Creek mansion for $9 million in 2009, in the same area where another renowned Brazilian model, Giselle Bundchen, and her husband, American football star Tom Brady, own land for the they paid $17 million, according to The Good Business.

The list of the rich and famous with homes in Indian Creek includes Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, son-in-law and daughter of former President Donald Trump.

According to various media, the Spanish singer Julio Iglesias owns several properties there.
