Miles Teller is ready with the efforts of his grandmother to make him the next James Bond. ET’s Kevin Frazier talks to the 35-year-old The actor was one of the celebs on Thursday as he descended on South Lake Tahoe for the American Century Championships presented by American Century Investments.
During the golf break, Taylor revealed that he would love to play 007 if given the opportunity.
“Yeah. I mean, yeah absolutely right,” he said of potentially making Super Spy his next role. “I guess we’re actors, you know, so maybe you can mix it up a little bit.”
Taylor’s remarks came after her grandmother, Leona Flowers, took to Twitter to campaign for the role on her grandson’s behalf.
“They are looking for an actor to replace Daniel Craig for future 007 films. I think my grandson, Miles Teller, has proved that he has everything they are looking for – talent, Form, strength, worldwide appeal and oh, so cool.” she tweeted, “He could be that guy!! Wouldn’t that be great?”
Some questioned whether Taylor could pull off a British accent, Flowers assured them“He studied acting which includes accents. He would be great.”
“I think our English friends will welcome him as 007,” he added. a follow up tweet, “The people of London loved him when he was there with the premiere top gun maverick, He charmed William and Kate too.”
