Megan Fox has a low-key request for any special occasion with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly — including her upcoming birthday on May 16.
“My main request isn’t always just the cell phone,” the actress told ET’s Denny Directo on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of the couple’s new film, Good morning, on Thursday. “So, whatever we do, wherever we go, I just want there to be no phone calls.”
Good morning! Kelly’s directorial debut, as the film was written and directed by the composer and his friend, Mod Son, and starred a cast of his famous friends, including Pete Davidson, Avril Lavigne, Becky G and more.
Fox said she was “very proud” of her boyfriend’s creative effort and had a blast directed by the rapper.
“He was amazing, so was Mod,” she said. “He wrote the whole movie in three days, which is incredible. He gets these bursts of creativity where he downloads something out of universe and puts together a really amazing product really quickly.”
And of course, MGK had nothing but admiration for his girlfriend.
“I think he’s comically talented,” MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, told ET. “I think she is so underrated as a comedian and as an actor who can adapt to different faces and stages, so, it was an honor.”
He continued, “It’s so funny, I was trying not to make her look like Megan Fox. I was like, ‘We should put an old lady’s wig on you,’ and she was like, ‘I get this. Gone,’ and she was him and she was Kennedy. And Kennedy was kind of a slog to Reagan new girl, So, everything was kind of meta.”
See more from the couple in the video below. Good morning! In theaters and on demand on May 20.
