Mayim Bialik, Joey Lawrence, Jenna von Oÿ, and Michael Stoyanov sat down with ET’s Matt Cohen to discuss the highly anticipated reunion, due to air on Fox on January 9 following the NFL double title. The cast of the popular 1990s sitcom talked about their chemistry on camera and kept getting asked when that blossom The restart is finally happening and how excited they are to take the opportunity to make it a reality.
For starters, the reboot is in the works. In addition to the reunion of Bialik, Lawrence, von Oÿ and Stoyanov on the small screen, fans should also be on the lookout for an Easter egg.
“I mean, there is dancing, we can put it that way,” says Bialik, before von Oÿ interjected, “We don’t all dance!” Lawrence then whispered something in Bialik’s ear, causing her to say, “It’s kind of on the nose that there’s an Easter egg, but we don’t want to tell you yet!”
As for an official restart, Lawrence says it’s a constant question but something they discussed.
“It’s been talked about for the last four or five years,” says Lawrence. “Every question and interview I do is like the second or third question they ask, ‘Are you going to do this because of all the reboots and everything that happened?’ Mayim and I talked about it, Jenna and Michael talked about it. We all talked about it. “
Now that they’ve had some sort of mini-reunion, the whole reboot conversation gets even more real.
“Don Reo who created blossom, he and I actually formulated something that we would like to do with this line-up, ”reveals Bialik. “Not a strict comedy.
