Maya Rudolph’s new Apple TV Plus comedy ‘Booty’ sets premiere date

Maya Rudolph is getting started.

Actress leads new workplace comedy series on Apple TV+ bootyWhich will launch with its first three episodes on Friday, June 24. Subsequent episodes will drop weekly on Fridays.

10-episode series, starring Alan Yang (Little America, Master of Nuns) and Matt Hubbard (30 Rock Forever), Michaela J Rodriguez, Ron Funches, Nat Faxon and Joel Kim Booster.

It follows billionaire Molly Novak (Rudoff), a life of dreams with seemingly private jets, a sprawling mansion, and a gigaoch. But when her husband of 20 years cheats on her, she spirals into public, becoming fuel for tabloid fodder. Worst of all, she reaches rock bottom when she learns she has a charity foundation run by no-nonsense Sofia Salinas (Rodriguez), begging Molly to stop generating bad press. Is. Accompanied by her assistant, Nicholas (Kim Booster), and with the help of Sophia and the team — including mild-mannered accountant Arthur (Faxon) and her optimistic, pop-culture-savvy cousin Howard (Funches) — Molly begins to be herself. – A journey of discovery.
