Marilyn Monroe’s dress appears damaged after being worn by Kim Kardashian

The famous and historic dress Marilyn Monroe wore to sing “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy in 1962 was damaged after Kim Kardashian wore it at the last edition of the Met Gala.

Due to the age and provenance of the dress (which has not been worn in 60 years) no alterations could be made as it is considered a historical piece, requiring Kim to lose 16 pounds to wear it. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have a furious argument because their daughter is on TikTok. However, it was revealed on social media that Kim Kardashian did not fit in the dress and despite the care with which the museum piece was treated, there was damage to the fabric.

Two close-ups show the before and after of the Bob Mackie-designed diamond dress, they also said you can see that crystals are missing and that some more are caught on a thread. Then we leave you a video of them dressing Kim in the dress she only wore for the red carpet, since it was reported that she later switched to a replica of it.
