Maisie Gray Clap Back On ‘I’m Threatening’ Comments On People Considered Transphobic

Maisie Gray is still not responding to critics who accused her of being transphobic in a recent episode piers morgan uncensored,

The singer wrote on Twitter, “You all are coming to my page, bullying and calling me by name – just because I said something you don’t agree with.” “Be whatever you want to be, and stay away.”

The post is not Gray’s first reaction to the controversy, which first surfaced on Monday. Gray, 54, was talking with Piers Morgan when he came across the topic of transgender people and activists.

“I will say this, and everyone will hate me, but as a woman, just because you change your parts doesn’t make you a woman. Sorry,” shared Gray. When asked if she really believed so, Gray said, “I know it for a fact.”

With Morgan claiming that fear of cancellation has caused many celebs to be “too scared” to share their true opinions, Gray said she agreed, before sharing what she thinks makes a woman a woman. The physical characteristics of: “I’d say a human with boobs. You have to start there. And a vagina!”

“Like if you want me to call you ‘her’, I will, because that’s what you want, but that doesn’t make you a woman because I call you ‘her’ and that’s just because you’ve had surgery,” Gray told Morgan.

Gray also defended harry potter Writer J.K. Rowling, who has been criticized in the past for her anti-trans remarks, told Morgan, “I don’t think you should be called transphobic because you don’t agree with, you know … there’s a lot of justice. And to throw stones at people just to say what it is.”

In response to his comments on Morgan’s show, Rowling extended her support for Grey, tweeting, “Today is a good day to make sure I bought the entire back catalog of @MacyGraysLife.”

Gray first responded on Tuesday via a statement released to ET. “I have nothing but love for the LGBTQ+ and transgender community and have been a supporter of it from day one,” the statement said. “My statement on Piers Morgan was completely misunderstood. I don’t hate anyone. I respect everyone’s right to feel comfortable in their own body and live their truth.”
