Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar on Friday filed a complaint against Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions with the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) for his Netflower show titled ‘Fabulous Leaves of Bollywood Wives’. In the tweet, Madhur wrote – Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta had asked me if they can name their series Bollywood Wives. I refused them because one of my projects was going to be released under this name.
Dear Karan Johar U end @ apoorvamehta18 Asked me 4 titles #BollywoodWives For the web, which I declined, because my project is running. It is morally and morally wrong to twist it #TheFabulousLivesofBollywoodWives. Pls do not break my project. I politely request U to change the title.

The trailer of the show was released last Friday and featured Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan, Bhavna’s daughter Ananya Pandey, Sanjay and Sameer in guest roles.
