Luifer de la Salsa promotes his album I sing to my idol, in Mexico

Fernando Lambis Hernández better known as Luifer de la Salsais one of the figures with the greatest projection of the new wave of Colombian tropical and salsa music that arrives in Mexico to promote his most recent production entitled I sing to my idola selection of songs with which he pays homage to Jerry Rivera.

I sing to my idol It is a very personal album, it has eleven songs and a DVD included and I will officially launch it on August 26 on various platforms. In the presentations that I planned for Mexico City and Puebla it is something personal, I grew up listening to the music of Jerry Rivera, I wanted to pay tribute to him, they are songs that I feel as mine”.

Also the son of the outstanding composer Luis Antonio Lambiswho has written songs for artists such as Tito Nieves, Tito Gómez, Maelo Ruiz, José Feliciano and Marc Anthony, among others, said that these concerts are part of a tour that began in Colombia a few weeks ago and will continue later in Peru and Ecuador during the month of August.

Lui Fer said that despite the collaborations he has made with other artists of the urban genre, he has always done so taking care that the essence of Salsa remains in those songs. He recalled that on his first album there are many songs by his father, such as “Vete,” “Only you”, “I’m afraid” and that It was from his second album where he began to write his own songs such as “No me denies tu amor”, and “I want to forget you”.
