Lizzo replaces ‘outrageous’ lyric in her new song ‘GRRRLS’ after backlash

Lizzo is turning up a line in her new song, “GRRRLS,” after facing backlash for a song that some listeners called an “absolute slur.” Fans took to social media after the song’s release to call out the singer for her use of the word “spaz” in the song’s opening verses, calling it a derogatory term.
