Kenny Chesney concertgoer dies after Denver show

Kenny Chesney is mourning a tragic loss. After the 54-year-old singer’s Saturday show at Empower Field in Mile High in Denver, Colorado, a female fan fell off an escalator and died, police and stadium officials have confirmed. Denver Post,

“I was devastated to learn of someone’s loss after their show. There was so much joy, so much heart coming from the people of Denver last night — and it’s heartbreaking to hear that,” Chesney told the outlet. . “Life is precious. Sharing music brings us together and the love we share makes us even greater.”

“There are no words for the woman who came to share that love,” he said. “For the loss of her friends and family, I am with them and grieving for them.”

Police told the outlet that the woman, who has not been publicly identified, was sitting on the railing of the escalator at around 10:52 p.m. when she fell down and died of injuries. It is not clear whether he was taken to hospital or died at the stadium.

According to the outlet, the woman’s death is being investigated as an accident. Police spokesman Nate Magee also told Denver Post That he did not know that alcohol was the cause of the fall, but said he believed the woman was not pushed or pushed before the fall.

“I didn’t understand anything like that,” he told the outlet. “It was just an accidental fall, I don’t think anybody pushed him or anything like that.”

Empower Field also issued a statement, saying, “We extend our deepest condolences to the loved ones of the woman involved in the tragic incident.”
