In his new video for his latest single from the album, Lamar mentions his “kids,” plural and his “wife.” While it’s unclear whether Lamar and Alford have tied the knot, it seems that family is on the 34-year-old rapper’s mind.

However the track isn’t just about family, and neither is the video for “The Heart Pt 5”. Throughout the scene, released on Sunday, Lamar performs the solo against a dark red background.

Moments later, as Lamar raps, in the video he uses some impressive deepfake visual trickery, as the artist’s face is visibly transformed into several other public figures, starting with OJ Simpson.

Throughout the track, Lamar morphed from Simpson to Kanye “Ye” West, then into Jussie Smollett. After transforming himself back, he undergoes another remarkable facial transformation after turning into Will Smith.

The last two changes saw Lamar as the late Kobe Bryant, before later becoming the late Nipsey Hussle, for a powerful and haunting conclusion to the provocative video.

Lamar’s upcoming album is his first since the release of his best-selling and critically acclaimed album Shame.Which came out in April 2017.

Shame. Won Best Rap Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards, and became the first rap album to win a Pulitzer Prize for Music.
