Justin Timberlake Apologizes After Some In Water Dance Criticism And Blames His Feet

Justin Timberlake had a word with his dancing feet and an apology to the people of DC! On Wednesday, the 41-year-old “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer took their instagram stories To offer up a hilarious explanation for the moves he made in the now-viral clip from his appearance at Something in the Water festival.

On Wednesday, Timberlake was to blame for two things. “DC, I want to apologize to you for two reasons. Here and here,” he said, lowering the camera to his feet. “I had a long talk with the two of them personally, and said, ‘Are you with me? Never do that again.'”

Looking at the camera, the Grammy-winning musician continued to blame her outfit, this time around. “Maybe it was khakis, it was a real khaki vibe. I’m gonna pass it on to you. I’m gonna focus on these two guys right here,” she said, pointing to her shoes. “And fix them. Love everyone.”

DC fans and natives who are familiar with Beating Your Feet—usually performed to go-go music—quickly and gleefully made the clip viral. Timberlake was a good game as he shared some videos — along with hilarious comments on his Instagram Stories — following his apology.
