Joy Bihar is welcoming a new conservative voice sight with open arms! On Thursday, ABC announced that Alyssa Farah Griffin, former White House director of strategic communications during President Donald Trump’s administration, would join the show as a permanent co-host, much to Behr’s delight.

The 79-year-old veteran TV personality shares with ET’s Rachel Smith why she thinks of Farrah Griffin’s time sight Meghan will run a little “smoother” than McCain, who was a conservative voice on the show when she co-hosted four seasons, except last year.

Behar told ET, “Alyssa has a completely different personality. “I think this girl is going to do great — I call her a girl because she’s only 32 years old.”

In addition to becoming a fixture on the Farah Griffin show, political commentator and frequent guest co-host Ana Navarro is joining sight,

To give advice to the women, Behr said, “The show is a volleyball game, it’s not a golf game. If you know how to hit the ball and wait for it to come back, you’ll be fine. That’s the only advice.” What ever I give to anyone.”

And Farah Griffin seems ready to spike the ball! When speaking to ET, she noted why she’s thrilled to be the new conservative voice sight,

“I really want to give a voice to the millions of Americans who are right at the center. I’ve spoken out against the former president. [Trump], but 70 million Americans voted for them and many of them are patriotic, civilized Americans who want something a little different from what we see in Washington,” she explains. “I hope I can represent those Americans. And also a lot of middle countries who often feel that their voices are not heard. I trust my positions. I’ve worked in Republican politics for longer than I’d like to admit.”

When it comes to audience expectation, Farah Griffin says, “It’s going to be sporty, it’s going to be spirited but I’m also the kind of person who respectfully wants to disagree. I love these women so hopelessly that it came to the fore.”

sight Created by Barbara Walters in 1997 and has grown into a daytime broadcast staple with co-hosts discussing controversial topics, politics, entertainment and current events.
