Anna Duggar greets seventh child with husband Josh ahead of their child pornography trial

Anna and Josh Duggar have welcomed their seventh child. Anna took to Instagram on Tuesday to make the announcement, sharing that the couple welcomed a daughter last month. The baby news comes just days before her husband is due to appear on November 30 for a pre-negotiation conference ahead of his child pornography trial.

“Meet little Madyson Lily Duggar! 💝 “, Anna labeled the birth announcement and added in her Instagram story that the baby was born on October 23rd.

Anna announced that she and her husband were expecting baby # 7 in April, just before Josh was arrested for child pornography.

“It’s a GIRL !!!!! 🎀 We are overjoyed to announce that baby 7 is on the way and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!” Anna wrote on Instagram.

Josh and Anna, who tied the knot in 2008, are also parents of Mackynzie Renée, 12, Michael James, 10, Marcus Anthony, 8, Meredith Grace, 6, Mason Garrett, 4, and 1 year old Maryella hope.

According to court documents ET previously received from ET, Josh allegedly used the internet in May 2019 to download the material, some of which depict sexual abuse of children under 12. If convicted, Josh faces up to 20 years in prison and fines up to $ 250,000 per count.

After Josh pleaded not guilty, his attorneys released a statement to ET.

“Josh Duggar has been charged on two counts. He has pleaded not guilty on either of the charges and we intend to defend this case aggressively and thoroughly, ”the statement said. “Nobody in this country can stop the prosecution from charging a criminal offense. But when you get charged, you can fight back in the courtroom – and that’s exactly what Josh intends to do.”

Josh was previously investigated by Springdale, Arkansas police on charges of improperly touching five underage girls aged 14, which had expired at the time of the investigation in 2006.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably, which I very much regret and deeply regret. I have hurt others, including my family and close friends,” he said in a statement at the time. “I confessed this to my parents, who took several steps to help me cope with the situation. We spoke to the authorities to whom I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents made sure that I and them people affected by my actions receive advice. “
