Jodie Sweetin marries Mescal Wasilewski in intimate Malibu ceremony

After meeting through mutual friends, Sweetin and Wasilewski began long-distance dating in 2017, before Wasilewski moved from New York to LA in 2020 to be with his now-bride. The pair, who got engaged in January, dated for almost 5 years before tying the knot.

ET’s Lauren Zima spoke to Sweetin about her engagement in February and why Wasilewski is “the one.”

“I just get on with him so well. He’s my best friend,” Sweetin said. “Plus we just have such a great life. We love to travel. We love so many things and connect in such a cool way. I’m at peace at last.”

She said, “I’ve never been with anyone who accepted me 100 percent completely. We’re so good. We never had an argument. We’ve been together through the pandemic with kids now and then. have gone.” “… He’s so kind and wonderful. He lets me be who I am… He’s like, ‘I just want to support you. You make your dream come true and I’m here to be your biggest. Nate will come back fans. I don’t need to be in pictures or in all this.'”

Sweetin also noted that her girls and her parents alike smoked with Vasilevsky.

“Most importantly, my girls love him. Before we got engaged, he asked them, ‘What would you think if your mom and I got married?’ he said. “He called my parents and talked to them. He did it all right. My parents love him. I am really at peace and really happy.”

Saturday’s wedding marked the Fuller House alum’s fourth marriage. Sweetin was previously married to Sean Holguin from 2002 to 2006. She then moved in with Cody Harpin – with whom she has a daughter, Zoey – and they were married from 2007 to 2010. He later married Morty Coyle in 2012 – with whom he shares daughter Beatrix – before their 2016 split.
