Before Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s family gathered for Thanksgiving dinner, the couple – and their children – helped those in need with a holiday food drive.
Thanksgiving being a season of gratitude, Ben affleck and Jennifer lopez took a moment to give back to those less fortunate than them. Over the holiday weekend, Ben, 49, and J.Lo, 52, organized a food drive for Rise Against Hunter at his home in Pacific Palisades. In the photos of the food drive, Ben and Jen unloaded a truck full of food, carrying 50-pound bags of rice. Jen and Ben both rolled up their sleeves – metaphorically in Jen’s case, as she opted for a beige turtleneck – to move goods, with Ben even putting two backs on her shoulders at once. They got help from Ben’s daughters, Purple, 15 and Seraphine, 12, as well as J.Lo’s 13-year-old daughter, Emme.
Jennifer and her twins – Emme and Max – arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday (November 24) before the big day. The three arrived by private plane and boarded a car. J.Lo rocked a thick fur coat, having come to film The mother in British Columbia, Canada. It was the first Thanksgiving since “Bennifer 2.0”, when Ben and Jen decided to give love a second chance. The two started dating in the spring of 2021, after Jennifer’s engagement ended with Alex rodriguez. The couple took their sweetheart from Miami to Saint-Tropez and back again.
For Thanksgiving, however, the couple chose Ben’s home in LA. The two decided to turn the vacation into a “family affair,” by mixing their kids up for the vacation. Their plans also included Ben’s ex, Jennifer garner. Ben and Jennifer “were able to figure out their co-parenting schedules with their best intentions, and with that in mind, everyone is going to see each other this holiday weekend,” an insider said. HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. This meant that she and Ben’s children – Violet, Seraphina and 9 years old. Samuel – would have the chance to spend time with their mother and father.
With Thanksgiving in the books – and its leftovers filling the fridge – Christmas is just around the corner. It remains to be seen if J.Lo and his children spend it with Ben and his offspring. If so, don’t expect a drama between J.Lo and Jennifer. The two have adapted to be in each other’s world. The two Jens joined Ben and all of their children for a Halloween party. “There was [not] and will never be an oddity when Jen and [J.Lo] are in the same room, ”a source said. HollywoodLife on the Halloween adventure. “They’re adults, and when it comes to what’s important, unnecessary drama isn’t on this list.”
