Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon wish to reunite with Christina Applegate! Rachel Smith from ET spoke at Morning present co-stars forward of the second season of the Apple TV + present, and the pair have expressed curiosity in Applegate making an look on the sequence.
The three ladies all appeared on Pals, with Witherspoon and Applegate as Jill and Amy, sisters of Aniston’s character, Rachel Inexperienced. Whereas The morning present served as an form of reunion for Aniston and Witherspoon, Applegate has but to look.
“We need Christina Applegate to join us,” Witherspoon informed ET. “… It would be fun.”
“We do,” Aniston nodded. “We should do something like this.”
Followers lately had the possibility to have fun Pals with the premiere of the HBO Max Forged Assembly. Though Witherspoon was not one of many celebrities who appeared on the present, she did watch her at residence.
“It was so touching. I found it so touching. I cried three times looking at you guys,” Witherspoon informed ET. “It reminds me of a moment in my life. You all lived it, but we watched it. It was important to me.”
“I remember having a little baby and being a mom, and you were my friends,” Witherspoon added of her now 22-year-old daughter Ava, whom she shares along with her ex, Ryan. Phillippe. She can also be a mother to Deacon, 17, with Phillippe, and from Tennessee, 8, along with her husband, Jim Toth.
For Aniston, returning to the sitcom reminds him of how far he has come.
“Coming back and watching Reese, like the clips of Reese and I back in the day, we were such babies ourselves… we were so cute,” Aniston informed ET. “Who knew our whole life was sort of ahead of us? It’s just crazy to think from there, we’re sitting here.”
Now the ladies are preparing for season 2 of The morning present, which can handle each the drama within the newsroom and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“When we locked ourselves in, we realized we had to go back to the drawing board and try to figure out how to fit that into the show,” Aniston mentioned. “And also figuring out how to weave it delicately because we didn’t know where we would be when this show aired. If we were out of COVID and people would be tired of hearing about COVID?”
The morning present Season 2 premieres Friday, September 17 on Apple TV +.
