“Senjutsu”, the group’s double album title
NEW YORK (EFE) . – Veteran British heavy metal band Iron Maiden announced yesterday that it will release a new double album, its seventeenth studio album, titled “Senjutsu” on September 3.
Translated into Spanish as “Tactics and Strategy”, their record company reported that it was recorded at Guillaume Tell Studio in Paris, an old cinema in the French capital where they had already worked.
The production is by Kevin Shirley with group founder Steve Harris, who said of the process in statements collected by the Parlophone label: “There are quite a few complex songs on the album that have given us a lot of work to get them. To voice it the way we wanted.”
“Sometimes that process is a challenge, but Kevin managed to capture the essence of the band and I think it was worth all the effort,” explained the bassist of the formation’s “very proud” result.
