Neymar is ruled out for the PSG’s Ligue 1 game against the Nantes and Rennes as well as the Champions League clash against Leipzig next week. He is also expected to miss Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay on 14 and 17 November respectively.

“We are sad because he has a minor drug injury. I don’t think it’s possible that he plays with Brazil. If he plays, it means he is not injured and that’s a bad message. The news for me is that [he] Will return after the break, ”PSG manager Thomas Tuchel said in his Friday news conference.

PSG has informed Brazilian boss Tait and his medical staff about the situation, sources told ESPN. Neymar has also been in contact with the national team and he is still officially announced to be dropped.

Neymar’s likely return will be in PSG’s Lynch 1 match against Monaco on November 20. However, he wants to get involved with Brazil as he is following Pelé Selecao Goal scoring record. Neymar, currently at 64, recently overtook Ronaldo and stands just 13 behind the three-time World Cup winner who finished his Brazilian career with 77.
