The mythical los angeles room is still alive to continue fighting time and remain one of the favorite places of the capital’s nightlife for already 85 years.

Its interior has illuminated the night with its neon lights of hundreds of residents of the capital from every neighborhood and social class spanning the spectrum of the city of palaces. And it has housed different musicians to entertain and make their dancers fall in love.

Renowned personalities have slid down its stave track, such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Carlos Fuentes, Carlos Monsivais; and its scenario has given rise to Celia Cruz, the sonorous dynamite, the Sonora Matancera Yet the Santanera.

After a pandemic that almost closed its doors, it celebrates its long existence with special events and bands that are not only characteristic of the place, but also groups with more current sounds such as Black Rooster Sound and Tricycle Circus Bandoshowing that despite its tradition, it is constantly changing.

And as part of their 85th anniversary, these two bands performed on the night of July 30 at the salon to thrill both loyal and new customers.
